Adolescence (ages 10-19) is a unique and sometimes complex stage of development. As a parent or carer, you may have questions about the challenges and decisions your adolescent may face, and it’s completely okay to seek answers from specialists.
That’s why we’ve brought together a network of experienced specialists and practitioners who are ready to answer your questions.
Our service connects parents & carers with a suitable Nu Know's specialist for personalised online Q&A style sessions, helping you learn more about the challenges and experiences of adolescence.
All sessions take place via Zoom.

During the call, we’ll ask you a few questions to identify the topics you’d like to speak to a specialist about and answer any questions you have about the service.

Based on your consultation call, we’ll identify the specialist best suited to support you and then contact you with available dates and times.

Have your first one-to-one session with your matched specialist via Zoom.

After your first session, you can book additional sessions straight away with the same or a different topic specialist or you can return whenever you’d like further support or have new questions.

"I thought Roisin [the specialist] was knowledgeable on several topics where I had questions (and they were wide). She took the time to answer every question I had, providing examples and tips on what I could do. Sometimes, as a parent, all it takes is a little reassurance that we are doing the right thing, or guidance on how to ensure we communicate, and this is what I got from this session. I would definitely recommend to other parents and hope this is a service we can keep accessing.”
